West Post is proud to debut Touching the Big Sky, a striking 16-foot bronze sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist and Belgrade native T.D. Kelsey. Located at the prominent West Post roundabout, this public art installation honors the spirit, history, and enduring beauty of Montana’s Gallatin Valley.

Commissioned by Tim Barnard of Barnard Construction Company, this towering piece is more than a landmark—it’s a tribute to Belgrade’s past, present, and future.

A Gallatin Valley native, T.D. Kelsey has earned global recognition for his dynamic, impressionistic sculptures that breathe life into the American West. His work is featured in prestigious institutions such as:
